Replaced the aluminum oil cooler by this one on my Omega MV6 X30XE, drove more than 3000km through France and it's all fine. The cooler comes with 2 new o-rings and this is very important to know. By removing the old cooler, all the banjo rings will need to be replaced. My advice is to take the rings with you and go to a truck repair shop and try to find what's the closest. Opel doesn't provide them anymore. I found those bi-material rings at an Iveco repair shop.
This new cooler is great. The work and time it takes to remove the old one could be discouraging but if you take your time and be careful at each step, it worth the pain.
The work might be less difficult on the transversal V6 such as Vectra/Calibra Signum and Saab.
Anyway, if you want to free your mind from the potential break of the original cooler, this is the solution ;-)
